I just bought the Husqvarna 1650EXL for my new house. I live on top of a hill in central New York and the snowfalls can be deep, heavy, and nasty. Especially at the end of your driveway after the plows go by a couple times. Using this snow blower on a really long drive way with deep snow I had no problems clearing it out. The 16.5 HP engine threw the 18" of snow 20 to 30 feet. Yes as the first review states there are some plastic parts but don't let that discourage you. This is a well built machine that will handle the tough jobs. Follow the recommended maintenance and take care of it and it will definitely do the job.
